Dr. Mohammad Mastali, a structural and materials engineer whose academic career has bestowed his with a unique and impressive skill set critical to the progress of the discipline. Dr. Mastali graduated from Iran’s Semnan University in 2010 with a master’s degree in Earthquake Engineering. In 2016, he received his PhD in structural engineering from Minho University. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Minho University after receiving his PhD in developing eco-friendly and cost effective construction materials in 2017 for six months. Since June 2017, Dr. Mastali has worked at Oulu University, in Finland, as where he is conducting investigations into alkali-activated binders, energy conservation, and eco-efficient construction materials.
