Interested in advanced state-of-the-art light microscopy techniques form the cellular level to in vivo imaging. Also interested in developing light microscopy techniques and novel applications, as well as cell biology research. PhD thesis in 2012 about cardiomyocyte hypoxia responses, and after that the main research focus has been in collaborations with different research groups utilizing advanced light microscopy techniques. Responsible for arranging light microscopy education and courses for PhD students, post-docs and group leaders. Available also for light microscopy related consultations.
