Biography

Dr. Xin LIU is currently a senior researcher working at CMVS group. He received his Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from University of Oulu, Finland and in Information and Communication Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University, China, in 2019 and 2016 respectively. 

His current research focus on machine learning and computer vision for human behavior analysis (body gestures, actions, facial expression), object detection (foreground segmentation, saliency detection), and image restoration (denoising, deblurring, super-resolution), etc. He has authored or co-authored more than 30 papers in journals and conferences, and has served as a reviewer for 20 conferences and journals, such as the PAMI and IJCV.
