Yiyan He holds an MA degree in International Political Economy from the University of Warwick, the United Kingdom. She is working on the LongITools project, which is funded under the European Union Framework programmes Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe.

She applies statistical analysis methods for genomic/omics research of complex human traits, including hearing impairment and obesity-related traits. Her current research interest is about the association between environmental noise exposure and cardiometabolic diseases.
