My name is Spasia Neshkoska Tsutsuleska and I am an Education and Globalization Master’s program student.
Living in Oulu, I have a feeling that I am living in the heart of nature, surrounded by beauty. Walking and cycling in the middle of the picturesque nature makes me lose track of time. It helps to relax and enjoy the flow of life around you.
EdGlo studies are a ‘dream come true’ for me. I am studying in an international and multicultural environment, with peers coming from different professional backgrounds which I consider to be added value to the courses. The studies are tailored to our needs and the process of learning, equality and equity are of high importance to our teachers and University of Oulu as well. We learn by building upon our knowledge and we support and complement each other in and outside the classroom, with a great support from our ‘Kummis’, student tutors. Therefore, it has been easy to adjust to the life in Oulu - everything is well organized and well structured making it quite easy to adapt.
The Linnanmaa campus takes care of all your necessities, even for the pickiest. You can have your privacy to study alone or book a room to study with your friends, you have access to an enormous amount of reading materials and comfortable places to read them in the Pegasus library, you can have your lunch in the many campus restaurants or even enjoy a nap at the Tellus Innovation Arena to recharge. The university is a safe environment and you are taken care of.
I know that my experience in Oulu will not only prepare me for the upcoming challenges in life but it will provide the opportunities for unforgettable adventures.
