My doctoral research is linked to the EU H2020 project called WATERAGRI, and research is related to the sustainability assessment for local management of water and nutrients in agricultural areas. The work includes assessing water management and nutrient retention methods used in the EU, considering their technical applicability, functionality, costs, and environmental benefit.
I have completed my bachelor's degree in Agriculture Engineering and MSc.in Water Resources Engineering from Tribhuvan University Nepal and MSc.in Water Management with specialization in water conflict management (Water Diplomacy) from UNESCO-IHE, Delft.
I have been working in the water sector since 2010. Initially as an assistant lecturer for "Hydraulics" and "Irrigation and Drainage Engineering" by use of theoretical reasoning, practical works and fieldworks. Then, for the Government of Nepal under the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation (MoEWRI) in various line division offices, donor funded projects,and National Pride Projects conducted by the Department of Water Resources and Irrigation (DWRI).
