Biografia

 Katariina Holman tieteenala on kasvatusfilosofia ja hänen tutkimuksensa käsittelee kansalaiseksi kasvamisen teoriaa moniarvoisissa ja muuttuvissa yhteiskunnissa sekä kasvatustieteellisen tutkimuksen tieteenfilosofiaa. Holman tutkimusta ovat rahoittaneet Suomen Akatemia, Oulun yliopiston Eudaimonia-instituutti, Koneen säätiö, Helsingin yliopiston tutkimusvarat, Suomen Kulttuurirahasto sekä the Spencer Foundation. Holma johtaa tällä hetkellä kahta tutkimushanketta, Theory and Practice of Learning to be a Citizen (Suomen Akatemia, 2018-2022) ja Citizenship in Change (Oulun yliopiston Eudaimonia Instituutti, 2018-2021).
