We are pleased to announce that the Biocenter Oulu Day 2016 will be held on Wednesday the 16th of March, 2016. This time the theme of the day is “Microbiome - the Good, the Bad and the Ugly". Everyone is welcome!
Following in the footsteps of last year's successful new event, the second “Satellite Symposium” for PhD students is held the previous day, Tuesday the 15th of March.

Information regarding the Biocenter Oulu Day Bulletin Mini-Article
The tradition has been to print a Biocenter Day Bulletin, in which research groups have the opportunity to present their latest work as Mini-Articles. We kindly request all researchers to submit their Mini-Article for the BCO Day Bulletin. Deadline for the submission is on 8th February 2016. Please find below the template on how to design and submit your Mini-Article.
PhD Satellite Symposium
We are pleased to announce that there will be a PhD Satellite Symposium held on Tuesday afternoon, March 15th. This event is intended to bring all the BCO PhD students together, and to give them a unique opportunity to socialize and discuss their research among themselves. Credits will be granted for those who wish to have either an oral (1 ECTS) or a poster (0.5 ECTS) presentation. More information about the PhD Satellite Symposium can be found here.
