About the project

The BCO Transgenic core facility provides a wide repertoire of services connected to the generation, archiving and recently also analysis of genetically modified (GM) mice. New and emerging technologies in the field are constantly being evaluated and set up. National and international activities, including the Biocenter Finland-funded FinnMouse consortium, the European Mouse Mutant Archive, the ESFRI-Infrafrontier project and NorIMM, the Nordic Infrastructure for Mouse Models, have become important parts of our function.
