The Laboratory offers basic and advanced courses for students of process and environmental engineering. The courses cover understanding and controlling physical and chemical phenomena in different processes: flow phenomena, mass and heat transfer, chemical reactions, surface phenomena and equilibrium relations. Separation processes and catalysis as process and environmental technology are studied in more detail. Some advanced courses are also given in research methodology and research ethics. The courses on industrial environmental engineering cover identifying the environmental load of process industry and the technologies for controlling and preventing the waste streams of industry.
