"NEW ANTIMICROBIALS (NAM)" ARE:

To develop collaboration between industry and academia in the area of new antimicrobials, encouraging transfer of know-how and ideas

To explore new sources and approaches for generating novel antimicrobials

To produce understanding of mechanism of action of antimicrobials

To combine the strengths of antimicrobial agents from different sources to develop more robust anti-infective agents
