Changing the registration status

You can change your attendance registration and change it to absence (non-attendance) by contacting your own Faculty's Academic Affairs Service Team. The attendance registration for the Autumn semester or for the Academic year needs to be done by September 13th and for the Spring semester, registration must be changed no later than 31st January. The change is done only if you do not have completed studies or a completed degree in that semester.

Absence can be changed to attendance at any time during the Academic year. While the registration period is in progress, you can make the change in OILI, at other times you can contact the Academic Affairs Service Team of your own Faculty.

Attendance to non-attendance

Attendance to non-attendance can be done only during registration period: If you have already registered as present for Autumn term but wish to change it to absent, you may do so by contacting the Academic affairs team by by 13th September. The change regarding the Spring term must be done by 31st January.

This change cannot be done electrically in OILI-system, you have to inform the Academic affairs team for the attendance to non-attendance. After this, you can apply for the Student Union membership fee refund by contacting the member services of the Student Union as soon as possible.

In the case of a new student, there must be a statutory reason for the absence registration. If you are a first-year student, submit the registration form and a certificate of the statutory reason for the absence to the Academic Affairs Service Team of your own Faculty.

Non-attendance to attendance

Registration change from non-attendance to attendance can be done any time during Academic semster. If you have already registered for non-attendance but wish to change it to attendance, you may change the status to attendance at any point during the ongoing academic semester. During open registration period you can make the change in the OILI registration service and after that period, or if you are liable to pay tuition fees, please contact the Academic Affairs Service Team of your own Faculty.

The change of registration for the Autumn semester must be done by 31st December and for the Spring semester by 31st May.

The Student Union membership fee must be paid primarily when registering at OILI. If you don't have the University's username, online banking credentials or both, you can pay the student union membership fee by bank transfer, in which case a receipt for the payment must be submitted to student services for registration.
