Guest lecture by Reid Hoffman: Empowering humanity through AI

Reid Hoffman is an American internet entrepreneur, venture capitalist, author, and Honorary Doctorate of the University of Oulu, Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering. He co-founded LinkedIn and is a partner at Greylock, a leading venture capital firm in Silicon Valley. He has authored four best-selling books and hosts the podcast Masters of Scale. Hoffman reflects on essential questions related to humanity and focuses on investing in businesses that bring something fundamentally new to human life and society globally. Airbnb is one such business that Hoffman believed in from the very beginning.
