Juha Väyrynen is Docent in Cancer Biology working at the Translational Medicine Research Unit. He got his MD and PhD degrees in 2014 and Specialist in Pathology degree in 2022. Dr. Väyrynen worked as Research Fellow in Boston (Professor Shuji Ogino's research group, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute; Brigham and Women's Hospital; Harvard Medical School) in 2018-2020. His key research interest include gastrointestinal cancers, cancer immunology, and computational methods in pathology.
