I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the project PeaceTalk: Talk and Interaction in Multinational Crisis Management Training (funded by Academy of Finland). I use multimodal conversation analysis (CA) to investigate how talk and bodily conduct intertwine in the moment-by-moment unfolding of interaction. My current research interests include teamwork and sense-making practices in ELF (i.e. English as a lingua franca) work contexts, multimodal and technology-mediated interaction, and learning in remote/ online educational settings. I am also interested in aspects of collaborative learning, community building and the development of interactional skills and competence.
