Alumni activities and events

All alumni events are announced in the alumni network. Register to get information and invitations to various events directly to your email.

The University and its departments organise various events. As an alum, you can initiative and propose an event and even help organise one. Guilds, the Student Union and Oulun Yliopistoseura (University of Oulu Association) also organise activities open to alumni or a wider audience.

Events and activities include

• alumni meetings and reunions,
• mentoring programme,
• theme seminars, lectures,
• feedback sessions,
• research collaboration,
• University Day in May organised by the University of Oulu Association
• participating as an alum representative in working groups, such as Teaching Development Teams (OKTR)
