ThuleDP focuses on natural resources, environment and northern issues, and it is open for all doctoral students in these research fields.
TheDP combines three multidisciplinary themes, which are based on the research of Thule Institute:
Climate Change Dynamics, Impacts and Adaptation focuses on the interactions of climate change, ecosystems and natural processes but also on dialog between the actors in the field.
Human Health and Community Wellbeing investigates health and wellbeing in the northern communities on individual, community and group levels. The focus is on impacts and responses of human communities to global, economical, environmental and technological changes in the North.
Sustainable Resources Management focuses on water and land resources, biodiversity and ecology as well as resources management and control, including uncertainty and conflict mediation.
