Umair Qasim

Doctoral Researcher
Umair Qasim is a doctoral researcher in the Fibre and Particle Engineering Research Unit at the University of Oulu. He received his bachelor's and master's degree in Chemical Engineering from UET Lahore and COMSATS University Pakistan, respectively. His master's thesis was on the extraction and modification of cellulose from biomass for the development of Polylactide composites. He is currently working on the development of biobased aqueous dispersions for coatings and binders.
