My research interests lie on atypical communication and especially different forms of enactment in aphasic interaction. My Doctoral Thesis is mainly focused on the embodied forms of enactment, such as hand gestures, facial expressions, gaze and body orientation/movement, used by aphasic speakers in conversation. Using multimodal Conversation Analysis as my main method of study, I wish to explore the many dimensions of interaction in the stream of speech and body.
