LET team has a new intern during the Autumn semester.

INTRODUCTION:

My name is Sebastiao and I am currently doing my internship with the LET program. I arrived in Finland last year, after having worked as a teacher in East Asia for many years. I'm very interested in Intercultural Communication and the use of technology not only as a tool to facilitate learning but also its applications to assist educators to cooperate with each other in their day-to-day activities.

As an intern with the LET I am involved in a few different projects, such as reading the students blogs and learning how they progress in the coming months. Frankly, I hope to be able to learn a thing or two from them in order to help enhance my own blog as well. I have also had the opportunity to see how different type of technologies can be used for collaborative purposes. Needless to say, I'm really looking forward to the coming weeks, meeting all the students, lectures and staff in the LET program.
