Mikel Robredo is a Doctoral Researcher at University of Oulu. His research focuses on the study of time dependent techniques and factors applied to Software Quality and Maintenance subfields such as Technical Debt and Refactoring Analysis. He focuses his research efforts into Data Science, Statistics as well as Data Mining applied to the field of Empirical Software Engineering. He received his MSc in Statistical Data Analytics from Tampere University, Finland, and his BSc in Economics with a Major in Econometrics from the University of the Basque Country, Spain.
He was accepted in the FAST Doctoral Programme, the Finnish Software Engineering Doctoral Research Network, with a grant for 3 years of doctoral research work.
Currently, he is working on the design of a user methodological decision framework for dealing with time-dependent data in empirical software engineering.
