Oona Leppiniemi

I am currently working as a doctoral researcher in Physical Geography Research Group. My research interests are related to the Northern environment and to the effects of climate change on it. More specifically, I am studying palsa mires across the Northern Hemisphere and how their distribution is affected by the climate change. In my research I am using different methods of statistical modelling and Geographical Information Systems (GIS).
