I am a researcher in the field of Information Studies and Knowledge Management. My research focuses on the use of information and knowledge in organizations and communities. My fields of interest are interactive knowledge processes enhancing knowledge creation, information literacy in different contexts, the use of information in decision-making, Knowledge Management and phenomenological philosophy. In my research, I also focus especially to examine and develop methods and practices, that allow justified and thorough examination of information use and development of sustainable practices.
I have worked in projects funded by SRC studying and developing multidisciplinary collaboration in creating sustainable energy solutions in BCDC Energy (2015-2021) and in investigating resistant cities in RECIPE (2021-2024). Currently, among other things, I examine meaningful work in the context of public libraries in Finland.
