Heidi Hannula

Heidi Hannula graduated as MSc. in Biotechnology from University of Turku in 2019. During the same year, she also worked at the Biotechnology unit of the university. She studied different coatings of upconverting nanoparticles and how these affect nanoparticles' properties in immunoassay.

Currently, she is working on her Doctoral thesis at the Microelectronics research unit at University of Oulu. Her research topic is biofunctionalized nanomaterials and surfaces for biosensing.
