Education description
This is a two-day doctoral course for researchers from interdisciplinary backgrounds (HCI, education, psychology, computer science, policy, design). Experts and researchers working on children and AI across design, research, industry, and policy will conduct lectures and workshops exploring multiple perspectives, tensions, trade-offs, and opportunities in AI for and with children. The lectures are divided into four parts: Industry, Design, Research, and Policy: and experts in each will present current trends, challenges, and opportunities. Participants will also work in groups to complete discussion and design activities.
