Education description

The course introduces doctoral researchers to Human–AI Interaction from a socio-technical and human-centred perspective. Topics include:
• foundations and history of Human–AI Interaction;
• human-centred and value-sensitive AI design;
• explainable and interactive AI systems;
• fairness, transparency, accountability, and ethical AI;
• conversational agents and AI-related risks and harms;
• conceptual and critical approaches to AI-enabled systems;
• prototyping and evaluating Human–AI Interaction concepts;
• research methods and project-based analysis of existing AI systems.

The course combines lectures, discussions, readings, and hands-on research and design activities.
