Arctic AI Day 2024 - Towards Transparent AI

Arctic AI Day is being organized for the third time! Come join us at Nordic Art Hotel Lasaretti for one full information and research packed day!

The focus theme in 2024 is Transparent AI. The event is organized as a part of the 14th International Conference on the Internet of Things (IoT 2024).

A more detailed program and registration will be published here. Please note that if you have already registered for the IoT 2024 workshop day, you do not need to register for the Arctic AI Day.

The event is free of charge.

Course Credits for students

If you’re a student (of any level), you can gain 2 credits from the event. Please note that the credits are not available if you have got the credits from the previous Arctic AI Days events.

You gain 2 credits by submitting a short report (2-4 pages) summarizing minimum 4 talks, posters, or demos you found engaging and your thoughts based on the research questions presented. Presenting a poster covers half of the written requirements. The credits are graded pass/fail.

To gain the credits, submit your report to ella.peltonen@oulu.fi together with your student number on 3.12.2024 at the latest. There is no need to register for the credits (but you need to register for the event).
