Welcome to this Brown Bag seminar on Monday 12 October in Tellus Stage to hear about business and security perspectives of 6G networks and beyond. The speakers in this seminar are Associate Professor Pawani Porambage from Secure Programming Research Group working with the SafeEarth research programme and Director of Martti Ahtisaari Institute, Professor Petri Ahokangas from Oulu Business School.
Associate Professor Porambage will talk with the title Evolution of Mobile Network Security. Her talk will address the security, privacy and resilience of the networks.
Professor Ahokangas will discuss business aspects of wireless connectivity. His presentation will explore the business models of new mobile communications technologies, including the questions of resilience and sustainability of these technologies.
The seminar will take place on Monday 12th of October from 11 am to 12 pm at Tellus Stage on Linnanmaa campus. Lunch will be provided for those who register by Wednesday 7th of October at 12 pm. The seminar will be held in English.
If you cannot make it to the Linnanmaa campus, you can also participate via Zoom. If you participate via Zoom, you don’t need to register for the event.
The aim of the Brown Bag Seminars is to showcase University of Oulu’s research and to encourage knowledge-sharing and networking amongst our researchers. Once a month, we invite two of our researchers from different fields to talk about their research related to the same topic.
