Business Corner season opening

Are the risks and uncertainties of entrepreneurship holding you back from trying out your own business idea? At the Business Corner season opening, you'll hear from four young adults about entrepreneurship and starting a startup, from people who've been exactly where you are now.

You'll hear what entrepreneurship really takes and how challenges have been overcome in practice. We'll also look at buying an existing business as an excellent way to start out as an entrepreneur.

The event will also give an overview of how StartupOulu supports early-stage founders through its activities, programs, and events.

Where: Business Corner Cowork and Venue, Linnanmaa campus

What to expect:

• A light lunch
• Four talks from founders from Oulu
• An overview of Business Corner and StartupOulu's support
• A chance to network with others interested in entrepreneurship

The event will be held in both Finnish and English.

The event is part of POHJAT 2026 entrepreneurship week. Organised by StartupOulu, Oulu University Innovation Centre, and Pohjois-Pohjanmaan Yrittäjät.
