Campus as a Stage: Culture lectures - Engineering student choir TeeKu: language bath

Culture lectures are intended as "lectures between lectures". The idea is to bring cultural experiences to everyday situations, such as transitions on campus between lectures and meetings. Several hobby organizations under the University of Oulu Student Union participate in enriching the everyday life of our campuses with both music and theater. This time, the culture lecture will dive into the world of languages. Does mandatory Swedish give you gray hairs? Have you already forgotten all your Latin? No worries - TeeKu offers a short language learning experience through songs in all kinds of different languages.

The event will be held on the Kontinkangas campus in the main building Kieppi's lobby.

In 2026, the University of Oulu will organize a year-long Campus as a Stage event series, the purpose of which is to showcase the broad cultural expertise of our university community and bring culture to the everyday life of our campuses and to the wider public. The series includes culture lunches, culture lectures, After Work events, various exhibitions and community art works, and art tours of the university's art collections.
