Campus as a Stage Culture Lunches: Cassiopeia's Most Beloved Christmas Songs at Kontinkangas

The idea of the Culture Lunches is to bring cultural experiences to surprising and unexpected situations, such as during peak lunch times at the lunch restaurant. Several interest societies under the University of Oulu Student Union participate in enriching everyday meal times on our campuses with both music and theater. This time, Cassiopeia invites you to sing Christmas with them at a culture lunch.

This culture lunch will be held on the Kontinkangas campus's main lobby Kieppi next to the Medisiina restaurant. Lunch diners get to enjoy the singing of Cassiopeia and other Christmas enthusiasts.

In 2026, the University of Oulu will organize a year-long Campus as a Stage event series, the purpose of which is to showcase the broad cultural expertise of our university community and bring culture to the everyday life of our campuses and to the wider public. The series includes culture lunches, culture lectures, After Work events, various exhibitions and community art works, and art tours of the university's art collections.
