Campus as a Stage: Culture Lunches - Folk tunes and more I

The idea of the Culture Lunches is to bring cultural experiences to surprising and unexpected situations, such as during peak lunch times at the lunch restaurant. Several interest societies under the University of Oulu Student Union participate in enriching everyday meal times on our campuses with both music and theater. Check out the exact event times, when and in which restaurant the culture lunch will take place and head there for lunch!

This time, at the Campus as a Stage Culture Lunch, the Oulu University Chamber Orchestra players perform some of their favourite folk tunes.

This culture lunch will be held in Kieppi next to the Medisiina restaurant (Kontinkangas campus).

In 2026, the University of Oulu will organize a year-long Campus as a Stage event series, the purpose of which is to showcase the broad cultural expertise of our university community and bring culture to the everyday life of our campuses and to the wider public. The series includes culture lunches, culture lectures, After Work events, various exhibitions and community art works, and art tours of the university's art collections.
