Campus as a Stage: Culture Lunches - Pop and Rock

The idea of the Culture Lunches is to bring cultural experiences to surprising and unexpected situations, such as during peak lunch times at the lunch restaurant. Several interest societies under the University of Oulu Student Union participate in enriching everyday meal times on our campuses with both music and theater. Check out the exact event times, when and in which restaurant the cultural lunch will take place and head there for lunch!

This time on a culture lunch, the Oulu University Chamber Orchestra's players perform some pop and rock favourites.

This culture lunch will be held at the Linnanmaa campus in the Restaurant Kerttu between 11.30 am - 12.00 pm. Welcome!

In 2026, the University of Oulu will organize a year-long Campus as a Stage event series, the purpose of which is to showcase the broad cultural expertise of our university community and bring culture to the everyday life of our campuses and to the wider public. The series includes culture lunches, culture lectures, After Work events, various exhibitions and community art works, and art tours of the university's art collections.
