Campus as a Stage: Culture Lunches - Story Time in April

The idea of Culture Lunches is to bring cultural experiences to surprising and unexpected situations, such as during peak lunch restaurant hours. Several hobby organizations under the University of Oulu Student Union participate in enriching everyday mealtimes on our campuses with both music and theater. Who said stories are for children only? Members of the Student Theatre of Oulu create a relaxing and whimsical lunch break by reading fairy tales and stories this time in the restaurant H2O Campus on the Linnanmaa campus between 11.30-12.00. Welcome!

In 2026, the University of Oulu will organize a year-long Campus as a Stage event series, the purpose of which is to showcase the broad cultural expertise of our university community and bring culture to the everyday life of our campuses and to a wider audience. The event includes culture lunches, culture lectures, After Work events, various exhibitions and community art works, and art tours of the university's art collections.
