Campus as a Stage: Culture Lunches - Take Me to the Movies at Kontinkangas

The idea of the Culture Lunches is to bring cultural experiences to surprising and unexpected situations, such as during peak lunch times at the lunch restaurant. Several interest societies under the University of Oulu Student Union participate in enriching everyday meal times on our campuses with both music and theater. This time on a culture lunch, the Oulu University Chamber Orchestra showcases some film music numbers.

This culture lunch will be held on the Kontinkangas campus in Medisiina restaurant between 11.30 am - 12.00pm. Welcome!

In 2026, the University of Oulu will organize a year-long Campus as a Stage event series, the purpose of which is to showcase the broad cultural expertise of our university community and bring culture to the everyday life of our campuses and to the wider public. The series includes culture lunches, culture lectures, After Work events, various exhibitions and community art works, and art tours of the university's art collections.
