Festival of Cultures 2025: Make Sushi Roll! – Experience Japanese Food Culture

Let’s make sushi rolls together! We provide all the materials and ingredients you need, and you can join for free. However, we can only accept 15 participants, so please sign up early! During the session, you will learn how to make sushi rolls with salmon and vegetables, and you can choose your favorite ingredients to create your own roll. This is not only a fun cooking activity but also a great opportunity to learn about Japanese food culture. Enjoy trying new tastes and discovering the beauty of Japanese cuisine in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere!

Please note that the main language of the event is English The event is organized by volunteer students and staff members from the University of Oulu and Oulu University of Applied Sciences.

Please note that you must pre-register for the event. Due to limited capacity, we can accommodate 15 participants. We take registrations until November 9, 23.59 or until all the sports are reserved.

The University of Oulu, in collaboration with Oulu University of Applied Sciences, the Student Union of the University of Oulu, and the Student Union of Oulu University of Applied Sciences, is organizing the Festival of Cultures week to celebrate our multicultural community in Oulu and promote cultural awareness.
