Experience the beauty and joy of a traditional Iranian wedding ceremony brought to life through live Persian music, dance, and storytelling. This vibrant cultural performance offers audiences an authentic glimpse into one of Iran’s most cherished celebrations, filled with symbolic rituals, colorful traditions, and the warmth of community. The stage will feature the elegant Sofreh Aghd (wedding spread), representing blessings and happiness for the couple, while musicians perform lively Persian melodies that capture the spirit of festivity. A narrator will guide the audience through the ceremony, sharing the meanings behind each ritual and tradition. The performance concludes with a joyful group dance, inviting everyone to take part in the celebration. Join us for a heartwarming journey into Persian culture—an unforgettable showcase of music, movement, and heritage that celebrates love and unity.
Please note that the main language of the event is English The event is organized by volunteer students and staff members from the University of Oulu and Oulu University of Applied Sciences.
