Join us for an immersive Chinese cultural experience! Unwind with a calming Qigong session, discover the natural wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and try your hand at the elegant art of calligraphy. Afterwards, treat yourself to a variety of delicious Chinese snacks. This is your chance to explore, interact, and enjoy a unique cultural journey. Everyone is welcome!
Please note that the main language of the event is English The event is organized by volunteer students and staff members from the University of Oulu and Oulu University of Applied Sciences.

Where: Tellus Stage, Tellus Aspire and Cube 1
Activities on Tellus Stage: Paper Cutting, Calligraphy Experience, Knot Craft, Touhu and Jianzi. You can freely join these activities according to your schedule.
Activities in Aspire: Baduanjin Qigong Session 15:00-15:45 Please note that pre-registration is required to join this part of the event due to limited space.
Baduanjin is a gentle Chinese exercise dating back to the Song Dynasty. It combines breathing, stretching, and mindful movement to promote physical and mental well-being. This session is held in a quiet space and requires advance registration. Perfect for students and staff members seeking a peaceful break and a taste of traditional wellness!
Activities in Tellus Cube 1: Chinese Medicine and Acupressure. Wait for your turn to try our Chinese acupressure massage! One massage lasts about 2 to 3 mins.
The event is open for all and free of charge.
The University of Oulu, in collaboration with Oulu University of Applied Sciences, the Student Union of the University of Oulu, and the Student Union of Oulu University of Applied Sciences, is organizing the Festival of Cultures week to celebrate our multicultural community in Oulu and promote cultural awareness.
