Experience the shared spirit of Indonesia and Malaysia through our traditional games! These activities invite you to reconnect with your playful side — a refreshing pause from everyday routines. Rooted in collaboration and community, our games serve as wonderful ice-breakers and gentle peace-makers, reminding us that we are all connected as a human.
On the final day, join our Batik Workshop and explore the therapeutic and creative process of making batik using canting. Discover the unique philosophies behind various batik patterns and how this art form has become a vital part of our national identities, all while enjoying our World-Wall games!
Throughout these experiences, you’ll also get to taste a variety of our delicious traditional chips, an essential companion in our everyday food culture.

The University of Oulu, in collaboration with Oulu University of Applied Sciences, the Student Union of the University of Oulu, and the Student Union of Oulu University of Applied Sciences, is organizing the Festival of Cultures week to celebrate our multicultural community in Oulu and promote cultural awareness.
