Location
The first part of the Data Forum will showcase projects funded through the Hybrid Intelligence New Research Initiatives (NRI) 2025 call at the University of Oulu. These initiatives represent cutting-edge explorations into how human and artificial intelligence can work together to improve healthcare, education, interaction, and well-being. HI Data Forum is held on 9th of October at 8.30-12.00, at Leaf, University of Oulu and online in Zoom.
Register here to join the event.
Each project showcases a unique interdisciplinary approach, combining expertise from fields such as medicine, psychology, engineering, and human-computer interaction. Presenters will share early results, insights, and future directions of their work, contributing to the evolving landscape of hybrid intelligence research. This event brings together multidisciplinary teams exploring the intersection of human and machine intelligence across healthcare, education, XR environments, and human-computer interaction. Participants will hear from researchers integrating AI into clinical decision-making, virtual reality learning environments, and personalized health technologies.
The forum will also feature perspectives from recipients of the HI Mobility Grants, which support international collaboration and knowledge exchange by enabling researchers to visit leading institutions abroad. Grant recipients Jens Gebele, Yixing Cheng, and Mark Adamik will share experiences from their research visits, demonstrating how mobility opportunities enrich individual projects while advancing the broader goals of the hybrid intelligence programme.
The hybrid event is open to all! Secure your spot and register here!
