Hurmos a joint academic year kickoff event for university students organized by the Student Union of the University of Oulu (OYY) and the Student Union of Oulu University of Applied Sciences (OSAKO). The three-day programme includes free Hurmos sitsi parties open to everyone at Åströminpuisto on Wednesday 9 September, a daytime event at the Linnanmaa campus on Thursday 10 September, and a festival night at Kuusisaari on Friday 11 September.
