Welcome to explore Luonnos, an exhibition by Oulu-based artist and visual arts educator Karoliina Hautala at the University of Oulu's Linnanmaa campus. The exhibition is on display in the alternating exhibition space on the second floor of Virransilta and can be visited during campus opening hours.

Luonnos is a visual diary of Oulu's seashores, parks, and natural surroundings. Created on site, the paintings and drawings capture fleeting observations, experiences, and memories of place. The exhibition explores how a place becomes an observation, an observation becomes an image, and an image becomes a memory.
This exhibition is part of the University of Oulu's 2026 culture programme and Campus as a Stage alternating exhibitions.
