Library Workshop: PubMed database

PubMed is a free Medline database. PubMed includes bibliographic citations in the fields of medicine, nursing and dentistry. In the workshop, you will learn to use the basic and advanced search functions as well as how to carry out comprehensive searches, for example for a systematic literature review. We will also look into how to use the MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) thesaurus in searches.

This workshop is intended for students and staff of the University of Oulu and Oulu University of Applied Sciences, as well as OYS staff. In the workshops, we adhere to the Oulu University Library principles of a safer space.
