University of Oulu at the Oulu Pride Parade

If you wish, you are welcome to join the parade as part of the University of Oulu and Student Union of the University of Oulu group. You can recognise the university community’s block by the banner reading “University of Oulu ❤️ Oulu Pride”.

The parade will set off from Kuusisaari, travel through Oulu city centre and return to Kuusisaari.

After the parade, a park festival will be held in Kuusisaari, where you can visit the University of Oulu’s tent. At the tent, you can meet representatives from Ooka, the rainbow association for higher education students in Oulu; the Queer UniOulu staff network; Gender Studies; and the University’s Equality and Diversity Committee.
