Valentine’s Day Special: Auroraliiga Kärpät vs IFK

The Oulu-based Auroraliiga team Kärpät would like to invite all students and staff of the University of Oulu to an Auroraliiga match as a Valentine’s Day gift. Kärpät Oulu will face IFK Helsinki at the Oulu Energy Arena (Teuvo Pakkalan katu 11) on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 3:15 PM.

Auroraliiga is the top women’s ice hockey league in Finland, representing a commitment to professional elite sport, equality, and supporting players’ individual development paths both on and off the ice. The league features nine teams from across Finland.

There is plenty of free parking available in front of the Energy Arena, and entry to the venue is through the main doors on the right-hand side. Free admission is available by mentioning “Valentine’s Day gift – University of Oulu” at the ticket office.
