Webinar: AI in Doctoral Research – From Guidelines to Practice
The new national recommendation on AI in research published by The Finnish National Board on Research Integrity TENK in June 2026 provides the much-needed guidance for researchers. Together with University of Oulu own guidelines on the responsible use of generative AI in research and the and the corresponding EU level guidelines, the baseline exists but translating the recommendations and guidelines to practice in researchers’ day to day.

Join the Webinar to hear and discuss what the new guidance will mean for doctoral researchers and supervisors and get practical hints for the use of AI in research. The event will be held via Microsoft Teams. The speaker for the session will be Marja Matinmikko-Blue, who contributed to the preparation of the Finnish National Board on Research Integrity’s (TENK) national recommendation on the use of AI in research and led the development of University of Oulu's guidelines for responsible use of generative AI in research.
