The NORDLOG doctoral symposium
The NORDLOG doctoral symposium is a full day for PhD students to share experiences and learn from senior researchers and starts in the morning of the Wed 16 June. Theme for this year´s NORDLOG is: ”Building Your Own Academic Network in Logistics and Supply Chain Management Field”
The Educators' Day
Educators’ Day is a full-day event for faculty in logistics and supply chain management to share experiences, with a particular focus on improving PhD supervision in our field. Educators’ Day will be held on Wednesday, 16 June.
The main conference (NOFOMA) will start in the morning, Thu 17 June, and will include keynote speeches, and parallel sessions for discussions of academic papers.
Call for papers
The theme for this year’s conference is “Revisiting the Nordic Approach of Logistics and Supply Chain Management Research: The Nordic Spirit”.
Papers are invited dealing with, but not limited to, the following topics:

Below you will find information on how to submit an abstract and paper.
- Submission of abstracts: 21 January 2027
- Acceptance of abstracts: 28 January 2027
- Submission of full papers: 15 March 2027
- Reviewers’ comments out: 19 April 2027
- Submit revised full papers without any track changes (and response-to-reviewers as an attachment).
- Submission of work in progress papers: 12 May 2027
Submit abstracts for full & work-in-progress papers
- Structured abstracts can have maximum 250 words, and should cover the purpose, theoretical puzzle, methods to solve this puzzle (e.g., data collection and data analysis), theoretical contributions, managerial and societal implications, and include 3-5 keywords.
- Indicate whether it is a full paper or work-in-progress paper.
Both full papers and work-in-progress papers can be up to 10,000 words (see the template for more details). - Work-in-progress shall have a minimum of 5,000 words (including abstract and references) and present: Introduction/background, purpose, theory, methods (applied or planned), and planned contribution.
