Board of Examiners
The Board of Examiners meets as required (no meetings are held in July).
The Board of Examiners will begin consideration of a matter without undue delay. Requests for rectifications of decisions concerning study credits and the recognition of learning will be treated as urgent. Requests for rectifications concerning student admissions will be considered by the Board of Examiners within a reasonable period.
The Board of Examiners constitutes a quorum when at least half of its members, including the Chair, are present. Decisions of the Board of Examiners shall be signed by the Chair or Deputy Chair and the Secretary.

Rector has appointed Board of Examiners on 6.9.2011 under section 4 of the University of Oulu Education Regulations.
The Rector of the University has appointed a Board of Examiners, in accordance with Section 27 of the Universities Act and Section 4 of the Regulations on Education at the University of Oulu, effective from 6 September 2011. Under Section 4 of the Regulations on Education at the University of Oulu, the Rector appoints the Board of Examiners to handle requests for rectification concerning student admissions, study credits, and the recognition of learning. The Chair of the Board of Examiners and their deputy must be professors. At least half of the other members must be university teachers, and at least one must be a student (Universities Act, Section 27). The student member is selected by the Student Union of the University of Oulu.
