The Board appointed the members of the Board of the University of Oulu Scholarship Foundation

The Board appointed Professor Helka-Liisa Hentilä, Professor Harri Haapasalo, Keijo Posio, Managing Director of Pohjolan Osuuspankki, Juha Laakkonen, Managing Director of Kaleva, and Rector Arto Maaninen as members of the Foundation Board.

Founded in 1960, the purpose of the Foundation is to support and promote activities carried out within the University of Oulu and its Student Union. The Foundation, which consists of 25 named funds, awards grants annually, mainly to doctoral researchers at the University of Oulu.
