The Business Advisory Board of the Oulu Business School met at the University of Oulu

The Business Advisory Board supports the Oulu Business School in developing its societal impact and external relations. The members of the board bring valuable insights and expertise from various fields of working life.

At the meeting, current topics at the Business School as well as the roles and responsibilities of the board were discussed. The Business Advisory Board currently consists of alumni members of the Business School.

“This is an excellent opportunity to help strengthen the business school’s societal impact and its collaboration with the business community,” says Chair Erja Sankari.

“It is great that the Business School has the support of industry,” notes Dean Janne Järvinen. “It is also essential and a key resource for the future.”

The board consists of six alumni members: Chair Erja Sankari (Foamit Oyj), Aino Toppi (OP Pohjola), Ella-Maria Uusitalo-Hassinen (Nordea), Hannu Huttunen (Professor of Practice, University of Oulu), Heidi Kananen (Valve Branding Oy), and Liisa Humalamäki (LähiTapiola Pohjoinen).

In addition, the board includes OBS’ Dean Janne Järvinen, Vice Dean for Education Marika Iivari, Deputy Director of the Martti Ahtisaari Institute Sauli Sohlo, and Solution Designer Emilia Raudaskoski (secretary).
